Museum of Modern Art
First museum of the west coast dedicated exclusively to
the 20th century art, it opened its doors in 1935 and
has been increasing its collections since then with the
most renowned names of the international modern art. Robert
Rauschenberg, René Magritte, Piet Mondrian, Jackson
Pollock, Anselm Kiefer and Marcel Duchamp are just some
of the artists with works in the museum.
By now is working with the intersection of art with technology,
with exhibitions specially prepared for the museum by
Bill Viola and a selection of works of the Media Art of
Pamela and Richard Kramlich collection.
